A fabulous pair of antique Etruscan Revival (Circa 1860) earrings in the shape of Forget me nots featuring a beautiful dome in the centre decorated with Turquoise and crowned with a Diamond.

Turquoise are a lovely opaque stone with a calming blue/ green colour that
has long been associated with the Forget me not.

Forget me nots in an old German tale were discovered by two lovers walking by a river one day. After picking a beautiful bouquet of blue flowers for his loved one the poor gentleman sadly fell in the river and was swept away but before he vanished he yelled out ‘Forget-me-not!’ giving the flowers their name and a long lasting symbolism of love and remembrance.

The earrings are crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold and boast exquisite Etruscan workmanship. They’re fitted with long shepherd hook wires and look wonderful when worn.
